Winter Walking Holidays
There is something magical about winter walking holidays. The crisp and pristine white snow across the tops of the mountains just tantalises you to head out exploring, but the dangers associated with winter can not be under-emphasised.
Here at Scot Mountain Holidays we would highly recommend guided winter walking holidays. We have a large selection to choose from as winter is one of our passions. We try to pack in as much winter exploring as we can during the season.
Our winter walking holidays run across the Highlands of Scotland. Some trips are on demand, as we can’t fit everything into our limited calendar; others we have scheduled on a rotating basis – though if you’re looking to become more independent perhaps you’d rather check out our winter courses.
We specialise in the Cairngorms National Park where we have our home base but we also run winter walking trips in Knoydart, Glencoe and Kintail among others. The Cairngorms can offer a virtually arctic experience but the joy of returning to your home base with a blazing fire and home baking generates a sense of wellbeing which just can’t be beat.
