Our most popular bread
I make this loaf at least once a day both for ourselves and for guests at Fraoch Lodge Mid-season in August we can make up at least 4 loaves a day. It is multi-purpose in that we use it for toast, sandwiches, bread crumbs etc. I usually let the Panasonic machine make the dough and then set it to rise and put it in the oven to bake. I find this makes a less crusty loaf. Comprehensively taste tested by all the guests who stay.
STANDARD RECIPE
1 1/2 tsp dried yeast
1lb granary flour
4 oz white bread flour
sprinkle of omega seed mixture (probably about 2 tbs) – sunflower seed, pumpkin seeds, linseed and occasionally sesame seed and poppy seed
1 tsp salt
2 tsp sugar
large splash of olive oil
350 – 380ml water
