Winter walking holidays in Scotland are one of our favourite things to provide. We cover a wide range of possibilities, mostly in the snow. It really is a great time to be out and about in the mountains. The views are stunning; the air is clear and cake is so much appreciated at the end of the day.
An appreciation of the joys of winter is one of the main reasons we moved to the Highlands of Scotland. We offer a wide range of winter walking holidays in Scotland. Safety always comes first so at the beginning of every walking break we always cover the personal safety skills of how to use crampons and an ice axe.
Winter walking is a different prospect to going out in the summer. There is more to take into consideration, not least of which is the extra gear and heavier boots you need to be warm and safe. We have over 20 years experience leading groups in the winter conditions here in Scotland.
There’s such a range of opportunities here in the Highlands that we can’t possibly run all of our itineraries every year but we are open to adding in private tours for groups where there is space. Please just let us know if you are interested in a private tour.
